Yesterday afternoon, around 1:30 pm, my cousin Anna and her husband Chad welcomed their first child into the world. Sweet little Ava Kate was 7 lbs 3 oz. and is quite possible the cutest thing ever. Unfortunately I am writing this while at work where I don't have the ability to upload pictures, but since I just couldn't wait, check out the post Ava Kate's Aunt Jessica did on her blog, Windsong. And that head full of beautiful, dark hair? Geeze Louise, she's gorgeous, I tell ya!

Slack?
Yes, I am. But to be honest, my life has been incredibly dull lately, leaving me very little to blog about. And I'm still trying to get back in the habit of taking my camera with me everywhere I go, but I promise to start doing better. There are tons of exciting things happening this week, though, so I will be sure to document all of it in great detail! I'll leave you with a couple of images to give you an idea of what's coming up.
